Description

PURPOSE: This Model Guidance outlines the procedure for the proper cleaning and disinfection of the ambulance after transport of a patient suspected or confirmed to have a high consequence infectious disease (HCID).
SCOPE: This Model Guidance applies to all ground EMS personnel and ambulance operators who transport patients suspected or confirmed to have a high consequence infectious disease.
