On July 27, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) updated guidance for fully vaccinated people given new evidence on the B.1.617.2 (Delta) variant of COVID-19 currently circulating in the United States. Updated mask guidelines (at the time of writing) recommend that fully vaccinated people wear a face mask in public indoor settings in areas of substantial or high transmission.
