Purpose: This survey is intended to be a high-level tool to help surveyors, NETEC or the appropriate Regional Emerging Special Pathogen Treatment Center (RESPTC), gain basic knowledge about a laboratory's capabilities for testing and handling special pathogens. This survey is designed as a basic overview of a laboratory's current status and is not intended to be a complete readiness assessment survey.
