EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
At the conclusion of this module, the participant should be better able to:
- Define the five primary management functions of the hospital incident command system.
- Describe the roles and responsibilities of the incident commander, command staff, and general staff.
- Describe the operational considerations for various roles of the incident command staff for all-hazard and special pathogens activations.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION
In order to receive a certificate of completion, you must complete these steps.
- View the entire HICS learning module.
- Answer all knowledge-check questions in each lesson.
- Complete the NETEC course evaluation
- Submit the course evaluation Completion Attestation
The estimated time to complete this activity is 60 minutes.
There is a Certificate of Completion available for learners that complete the module and evaluation, but there are no continuing education credits available.
